This dear would be a much greater "prize" if left in the wild where it belongs and not hunted down. Something you didn't create, but rather killed, is nothing to be proud of.

First, it's deer, not dear. Use proper language if you're correcting someone. I doubt it was known to be an anomoly of nature when the shot was taken. A thought out, or even more descriptive rationale would be better than what you posted here.

Stephanie the animal was most likely taken for food the fact that it had antlers was just a bonus for the hunter, since antlers arent edible it would give a trophy to the hunter, the meat of the animal would be processed and used to feed his or her family, leaving little to waste. Hunting a deer is no different then eating the beef, pork, fish , turkey, or chicken from the grocery store, in fact many rural stores sell deer meat as well

You have to think about it this way too...some places the deer are really over populated and then they run out in traffic...I would rather thin the population out just a bit than hit it on the highway killing it and possibly myself or someone else..should we leave all the other edible animals go too and all become vegitarians...its a part of life
